THE Client

THE Client

Estate of Francis Bacon / Tate Britain

THE BRIEF

This project involved producing a limited-edition release of Francis Bacon’s landmark 1944 triptych Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion, created in collaboration with the Estate of Francis Bacon. The work is widely considered a pivotal moment in 20th-century British art, described by critic John Russell as the point after which “painting in England could not be the same”.

The release was especially significant because proceeds benefitted Tate Britain, making it both a cultural and philanthropic collaboration between HENI, the Estate, and a major national institution.
