Peter Doig

THE BRIEF

Zermatt centred on a series of prints derived from a group of paintings Peter Doig created while living and working in Zermatt, Switzerland, a period when he returned to the Alpine landscape as a source of memory, atmosphere, and painterly experimentation. The project offered collectors rare access to work from a pivotal moment in his practice, translating Doig’s layered surfaces and dreamlike pictorial language into a carefully produced edition. Within HENI’s programme, it represented a major collaboration with one of the most important painters of his generation.
